To place the alignment bar correctly, your browser shares your phone's model with our device-detection provider (ScientiaMobile WURFL.js). This is needed for the tool to work.
Anonymous technical information about each use: phone model and whether it is supported, which guide you opened, whether you chose "I have a case", browser family and major version, Android major version, screen size, how detection went, and your country (worked out from your IP address by our hosting provider; we never store IP addresses). A random number groups the events of a single page visit; it is not saved on your device and is gone when you leave the page.
To run the tool and to improve it, for example by adding support for new phones. Our legal basis is legitimate interests (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)). The records cannot identify you, and we do not try to link them to you.
Netlify (hosting), Supabase (storage of the anonymous records), ScientiaMobile (device detection) and Adobe Fonts (typography). To deliver the page they process technical data such as your IP address. They are based in, or process data in, the United States.
Depending on where you live (for example the EU, UK, Switzerland or California), you may have the right to access, delete or object to the processing of personal data, and to complain to your local data protection authority. Because these records are anonymous, we cannot identify records about you, but you can contact us at info@ohsnap.com with any question. The tool is not intended for children under 13.
